Almaty. January 31. Kazakhstan Today - Kazakhstan won first gold medal in the 7th Winter Asian Games, the agency reports.
The first complex of medals was played at the 7th Winter Asian Games Monday morning. Olga Novikova became the first gold medalist in Women' Ski Orienteering Sprint. Her finish time was 13 min 4.7 sec. Silver was won by Chinese athlete Liu Xaoting who was 4 min 25.1 sec. The third in the Top 3 was another representative of Kazakhstan Yevgeniya Kuzmina. Her result was 18 min 46.8 sec, Asian Winter Games Organising Committee informed.
