Kazakh school graduates to sit for CNT

Astana. March 30. Kazakhstan Today - From June 10 till June 15 in Kazakhstan common national testing (CNT) will take place. The Committee Chairman on supervision and certification in education and science of the Ministry of Education and Sciences Bolatbek Abdrasilov informed today at the press conference in Astana.

CNT will be held in 155 testing centers. In 2006, 20 additional testing centers were opened in the regions and cities, B. Abdrasilov said.

According to the preliminary data, 174 867 school graduates will take part in CNT. CNT application process started March 16 and will last till April 30.

The republican appeal commission will include the experts and public representatives.

The Ministry of Education and Sciences raises passing level of CNT up to 50 points. "It has been done by the parents and pedagogues’ request to increase students’ motivation”, he explained.
