Kazakh Internal Ministry, FBI to investigate Sarsenbayev’s murder

Kazakhstan Internal Ministry is in close collaboration with the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation on disclosing of Altynbek Sarsenbayev and his assistants’ murder motives, the US Ambassador in Kazakhstan John Ordvey stated on Tuesday at the press conference in Astana.

“They have daily working contacts”, the diplomat emphasized, having added that the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan adhered to the policy of openness at each stage of the investigation for FBI.

According to J. Ordevey, investigation has been conducted professionally, was very careful, and all activities corresponded to the actions of any law enforcement bodies in any other country. These are FBI preliminary conclusions, the Ambassador emphasized.

He also informed that within the next few days one more group of FBI experts will arrive in Kazakhstan to provide FBI investigation expert opportunities. The diplomat noted there are many questions and speculations, concerning the motives proposed by Utembayev during the investigation.
