Head of EC mission visited Eastern Kazakhstan

Semipalatinsk. March 26. Kazakhstan Today - The Ambassador and the head of the European Commission mission in Kazakhstan Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan, Adrian Van Der Meyer visited Eastern Kazakhstan region (oblast).

The purpose of A. Meyer’s visit to the region is acquaintance with the course of realization of "Efficiency and transparency of realization of the rights of citizens on accessible habitation in Kazakhstan" project.

The project is aimed at elimination of barriers from the way of habitation realization by the example of Eastern Kazakhstan region and is realized by "Zubr" social corporate fund with financial support from the European Commission (44,000 euro).

The East Kazakhstan region akim Victor Khrapunov thanked A. Van Der Meyer for the support of socially significant initiatives of regional noncommercial sector and expressed his hope for further cooperation in this direction.
