Astana. May 8. Kazakhstan Today - Today in Akorda President Nursultan Nazarbayev presented the Chairman of the Committee on Legal Statistics and Special Accounts under Prosecutor General of Kazakhstan Saul Aitpaeva the rank of general, Kazakhstan Today reports.
This is the first time in Kazakhstan, when a woman is given the rank of general, the official media report.
S. Aitpaeva was born on May 22, 1960 in Zhaksy village of Turgay region.
Since December 2005, she held the position of the first deputy chairman of the Committee on Legal Statistics and Special Accounts under Prosecutor General of Kazakhstan. In April 2012, she was appointed Chairman of the Committee by the order of the Head of state.
