Astana. April 1. Kazakhstan Today - There was a large spill of sulfuric acidon Shieli - Enbekshi road in Kyzylorda region, Kazakhstan Today reports.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kazakhstan, on March 29, at 1:10 p.m. on the second kilometer of the Shieli - Enbekshi road a tank with 26 tons of sulfuric acid of the "DeLong TSQ" car owned by Sauda Kolіk LLC, overturned.
"As a result there was a spill of sulfuric acid (about a ton) on an area of 59 square meters. The place of the accident is backfilled with caustic soda; the works on recycling of sulfuric acid of the Sauda Kolіk LLP were conducted. There are no victims," the statement says.
In disaster management there were involved 9 people and two pieces of equipment of the Sauda Kolіk LLP, the press service of the Ministry informed.
