Astana. July 3. Kazakhstan Today - By the order of the Minister of Labour and Social Protection the poverty line in the III quarter is set at 40% of the cost of living, Kazakhstan Today reports.
"To define the poverty line in the III quarter of 2013 in the Republic of Kazakhstan in the amount of 40% of the minimum subsistence level, calculated over the past quarter of the Agency on Statistics of the Republic of Kazakhstan," stated in the order.
The document also makes the Decree of the Minister of Labour and Social Protection of the Population from 28 March 2013 "On the definition of poverty for the II quarter of 2013" to be considered invalid.
The Order comes into force from the day of its official publication and applies to relations arising from 1 July 2013.
