Astana. April 13. Kazakhstan Today - The President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev has reappointed mayor of Astana Imangali Tasmagambetov, Kazakhstan Today reports.

Imangali Tasmagambetov was mayor of Almaty from December 2004 until April, 2008. He was appointed mayor of Astana on April 4 of 2008.

The president's press service informs, Serik Ahmetov has been appointed mayor of the Karaganda oblast, Bolatbek Kuandykov - mayor of the Kyzylorda oblast, Sergey Dyachenko - mayor of the Akmola oblast, Sergey Kulagin - mayor of the Kostanay oblast, and Serik Bilyalov - mayor of the North Kazakhstan oblast.
