Almaty. November 2. Kazakhstan Today - Sultanbek Syzdykov has been officially appointed head of the Asian Winter Games Directorate in Almaty who replaced Sultanmahmut Shokbytov, the agency reports citing the Almaty Directorate.

Last week, the Olympic Council of the Asia Games in Almaty was inspected in regards to the condition of sports objects of the future Asian Games. Deputy akim of Almaty, Serik Seydumanov, headed the inspection commission. The results of the check of the commission have been dissatisfactory, owing to which S. Shokbytov was dismissed from the post of head of Asian Games Directorate in Almaty.
