3G technology to be introduced in villages of Kazakhstan

Astana. October 27. Kazakhstan Today - 3G technology will be introduced in the villages of Kazakhstan in the near future. The Minister of Communications and Information of Kazakhstan, Askar Zhumagaliev, informed during presentation of 4G project, the agency reports.
"3G technology will be introduced in the villages of Kazakhstan in the near future," A. Zhumagaliev informed. "The Ministry of Communications and Information along with the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Kazakhtelecom are working over the plan of measures in regards to when, where, and at what time we will begin granting 3G service in villages. As soon as we finish this plan, we will submit it for approval." "The Ministry of Communications and Information along with KCell and К-Моbile companies will start to implement 3G-technology project from December, 2010, which will allow providing our population in Almaty and Astana and two big events - OSCE and the Winter Asian Games with this service."
