Customs Union assumes rapprochement of macroeconomic policies

Almaty. July 13. Kazakhstan Today - The Customs Union assumes rapprochement of macroeconomic policies. Vice President of the board of the National Bank of Kazakhstan, Daniyar Akishev, informed during the online-conference on Monday, the agency reports.

"The rates in our economies have been defined, but we have prepared Customs Union documents directed at creation of the uniform economic space and there is the coordinated macroeconomic policy agreement among these documents. This agreement assumes gradual rapprochement of the macroeconomic policies of our states. It, in the long term, will lead to similar rates and macroeconomic indicators, such as growth of economy, credit rates, state debt level and so on," D. Akishev said.

He informed the 22nd session of the Council of the heads of Central Banks of the member states of the Eurasian Economic Community (EurAsEC) took place on July 8 - 9, 2010 in Dushanbe, where its participants discussed the measures undertaken by the countries "to maintain economic activity and other anti-crisis measures."
